The Impact CNC Thunder is a capable, cost-effective manual tool change CNC router built for sign makers, fabricators and woodworkers. Built for reliability and precision
The Thunder's steel table frame and gantry are manufactured to exacting standards, delivering outstanding rigidity across all axes. All three axes are driven by economical, quiet Stepper motors — with optional upgrades to AC Servo motors available for higher torque applications. The X and Y axes run on square THK linear bearings and rails, factory-sealed for smooth, accurate, maintenance-free travel.
Spindle, vacuum and dust extraction
Cutting is performed by a 5.5kW air-cooled manual tool change spindle. Material hold-down is handled by a powerful air-cooled vacuum pump, and the Impact CNC dust extraction system is included as standard. All components are managed through the easy-to-use NC-Studio CNC controller.
Cutting on the Thunder is performed by a 5.5kw air-cooled Manual Tool-Change spindle. Materials are held down with a powerful, air-cooled vacuum-pump and dust is efficiently removed with the Impact CNC dust extraction system which is included as standard. All these components are driven by the easy-to-use NC-Studio CNC controller.
